Nostradamus- Centuries 2 Quatrain 21
This verse is another of
those that gives every appearance of being central to Nostradamus' coding
methods. Its anagram based message gives strong hints about his contorted
techniques and his relationship with the decoder of the Prophecies. The 'albam'
technique is a substitution method by the ancient Hebrews and involves
progressively swapping the letters from the middle of the alphabet with those at
the end (a for l, b for m etc). Although the relationship between the visible text and the hidden
content remains obscure it is possible to see it as a description of the
difficulties any person will face as he tries to present Nostradamus' work to the world.
C.2 Q.21
