C.3 Q.49  - The Gaulonite rebellion as an allusion for the future of Christ gene in the Balkans.

  The terms Gaulonites and tetrarchs found as anagrams in the first and last lines provides a unity of time and place since about the time of Christ  Gaulonite was a name given to a sect of Jews based around Galilee while Tetrarchs was a name applied to the system in which four sons inherited parts of Herod's sub-divided Roman kingdom in the Levant. The Gaulonites with their own set of laws were subject to the rule of Rome via Herod and his sons which inflamed the conflict leading to the demise of the Gaulonites around 70AD. These names and ideas provide the same links as can be found in the group of verses about the Christ gene (See New Man).

The verse also carries clear evidence that an extrasensorial power matures (et loix $eras ran - ge En -autres m) and arousement results  (n autres moe - urs et l)and this is in keeping with the gifts of language and foresight that are also found throughout Nostradamus' verses. It also underpins ideas that I find increasingly compelling where emotions allow people from different eras to be in contact through their minds. Such a mechanism has to exist for Nostradamus' Prophecies to hold truth about the future and if it does exist he would have seen how it would evolve within a new man-like species.

In the last line there is an anagram for anchoret and it is possible this refers to hermits of the Galilean region who were called Anchorites.

In the modern version of this verse it is likely that the conflict of a suppressed rebel sect in the Balkans rebels against its government in the same way as attempted by the Gaulonites. And it is possible this forges the conditions for the emergence of the Christ- gene claimant.
