Nostradamus C.6 Q.12 - Modern war allusion to cannibalism in 1st Crusade.

Nostradamus C.6 Q.12 - Modern war allusion to cannibalism in 1st Crusade

This verse has a strong blend of ancient and modern war references. The anagrams imply a distinct period, that of the 1st Crusade. It was at this time that Tancred was a leading Crusader, one linked to the cannibalism of that campaign. The anagram of Laestrygonian alludes to an even more ancient people known for their cannibalism. Such an allusion implies that at a future date cannibalism in war will be quite notable again.

Centuries 3 Quatrain 27 (C.III Q.27)

Nostradamus- Centuries 3 Quatrain 27

This and the previous verse make sense when they are considered as being about the way the printing process is used to  conceal Nostradamus' code. Their anagrams fit into the schemes documented by Agrippa, the writer who in Nostradamus'  life-time was one of the foremost authorities on ancient coding techniques (see my paper on Agrippa for more).
