Code Mechanism Part 21- Nostradamus' Sephirot for the input of his wife (Anne Ponsard) to his code.

Code Mechanism Part 21- Nostradamus' Sephirot for the input of his wife (Anne Ponsard) to his code.

Preamble: In the first chart of this series I stated:

Nostradamus' work holds many conundrums designed to limit access to the content of his Prophecies. This is true to an extent where most people believe his work is the deliberate shambles of a charlatan. Yet there is direct evidence in his prose writings that show he had a pre-thought plan which guided his work. His Preface to the first batch of Prophecies published in 1552 clearly indicate that he already knew the content that his Prophecies would cover. He wasn't making it up as he went but took already recorded events in what seems a random order and placed them in a new sequence which he called his ten Centuries.

In order to keep control over his writings Nostradamus then needed a scheme that would tell him which topics he had already covered and he did this by relying on a coding device well known in the sixteenth century. It is part of the Cabala but the reasons for its use don't necessarily require that he believed in the mystical principles at the heart of its source. He needed a scheme that a person in a later time would be able to associate with the time of his writing. The Tree of Life also known as the Sefirot, Sephirot or Sephiroth was such a device. It is probable that he drew up charts based on these trees in which he placed ten verses and then used the ciphers traditionally linked to the ten spheres of the tree to guide the content wording and lettering in each verse.

(Note: In the chart below verse content is presented in four formats
     1. Translation into English in black,
     2. Original French text in blue,
     3. English anagram sequences found in text in red
     4. Contribution to context of the chart in purple.
)

Aim of this presentation

It is the purpose of this paper to present the twenty-first Sefirot Chart of Ciphers which brings together highly important aspects of his coding techniques and the impact his wife Anne Ponsard had upon this process.

Even with modern techniques it is difficult to get an accurate picture of the lives of non-prominent people in earlier ages. There were no computers, many official documents have suffered or been lost through fire and decay. And the personal writings of individuals are not only scarce but are often highly unreliable being inventions or myths put out by those persons, their critics or their fans. Much of the literature on Michel de Nostredame suffers from these problems and facts about his wife and their relationship are even more subject to these effects.

Yet we do know that Nostradamus married Anne Ponsard Gemelle (aka Anne Ponsard) and that she bore him children over a period of about eighteen years. This period covers the time when he wrote and published his prophecies. Reportedly she was at the time of their marriage, young rich and widowed. Now it is unlikely that Nostradamus once married could retire to what has been called a secret room at the top of their house without his wife's noticing and making comment. Before they married Nostradamus had led a wandering life in which time he had come to Salon, Provence and then returned a few years later to marry Anne and take up residence for the rest of his life.

It is likely that Anne would have had good reason to be wary of such a person but still she did marry him and bear his children. And as those children came into being Nostradamus relied for his livelihood on his prophetic abilities and his skills with herbs. He wasn't a major prophet of his time with the bulk of his fame coming much later. Such a background indicates that dinner time table discussions between husband and wife would have been unbearable if Anne hadn't come to terms with the nature of the man she had married.

But she wouldn't have been totally happy with what she heard for she would have known the threat it carried for her, her wealth, her position in Salon and their children. It is almost inconceivable that she just tolerated this situation and in the verses below there is a pattern that suggests it was her fears that shaped the way the Prophecies were presented. But they also suggest she wasn't the passive ornament that is conveyed by most presenters of Nostradamus' personal history. The verses below suggest that he wrote his work in code using musical notation developed by Anne even though she had full knowledge of the scope of his predictions in relation to religion in the future. She would have had to take on board the presentation of a work that implies changing understanding of the real world would compel a brutal war fought in order to resolve the myths surrounding the birth of Jesus Christ. But she did so while demanding that it be presented in a way that brought no threat to those who must live with the author of such stories.

There are other elements in the charts that need understanding to show that fit to the themes of his work. Of these Eucrite (stony meteorite) and Bolis (extremely bright meteor) are worth pointing out before viewing the chart.

And finally it is worth noting that his comments on his work in 1558 cover much of the same concepts as shown in the chart below.

So I have dedicated my nocturnal and prophetic calculations, which are composed out of a natural instinct, accompanied by a poetic furore rather than in accord with the strict rules of poetry. And in the most part they have been composed and are in accord with astronomical calculations corresponding to the years, months and weeks of the regions, countries and most of the towns and cities of all Europe, including Africa and part of Asia. By changing of [these] regions [to ones] which approach the greater part of all these climates, and which consist of a natural [similar] group we can answer some one who needs to blow his own [trumpet/nose]; the algorithm will be as easy as the understanding of its meaning is difficult. Henry Epistle 1558 HEE2

Where has our future gone?

Where has our future gone?

© Allan Webber B.Sc (Ad Uni), Grad Dip Ed Admin (Ad Uni) - June 2016
For the incomprehensible secrets of God and their efficient virtue depends on the long expansion of natural knowledge, deriving their origin from free will. They bring about the appearance of causes which of themselves could not attract enough attention to be known....but through some indivisible eternity and by means of Hiraclienne agitation the causes are made known... Nostradamus' Cesar Preface 1555 (PCE4)
My aims for this Paper.

This is a personal essay written by me in order to place my thoughts on this topic within a developmental frame. It is therefore a work that goes into considerable detail and holds trains of logic to a greater extent than in something written with the public in mind.
At this stage in my work I am increasingly aware of deeper aspects regarding Nostradamus' Prophecies than any direct reading can deliver. It is my desire to cover some of these properties since I am, due to my years of long research, in the privileged position of being the best person able to do so.

My findings challenge our current understanding of time but are explicable within the bounds of evolution of the physical and biological universe. I conclude that the contents of the Prophecies are not solely a legacy of Nostradamus nor do they emanate from any metaphysical spirits. They are the works of future beings whose evolution has bridged the concept of time in a way seemingly impossible to our kind. They are not necessarily our descendants but they are what some of the current genetic strains of life will become. In all probability they don't share many of our physical constraints with sexuality being vastly different in keeping with their time-seeing frame.  And they will be more ephemeral than us as a result of evolutionary practical management.
They bridge time, both past and future, and to them there is no such distinction. If you re-read the quote from Nostradamus given above you will see he makes a similar claim.

In order to establish the rationality of this proposition I need to embrace the difficulties others will justifiably have due to the normal human conditioning about reality and time.

The conclusions I reach stretch back way before Nostradamus to the times of primitive humans, ancient civilisations and the wonders that challenge our understanding of their established capabilities. But they also gain reinforcement from bizarre aspects we of the modern age have observed in birds, animals and other life forms. There is external evidence that supports the proposition but my main source lies within Nostradamus' Prophecies.

The above issues fire my ambition  to write this material and I only hope I have the skills to do my aims full justice.

The world inhabited by Nostradamus had no way of seeing ours since the common language of our time had no reason to exist in the sixteenth century. Of the barriers that isolated the 16th century from us the strongest dealt with the issues of time and the place of humans in the order of the world. Since the beginning of the universe there had been no better mechanism than legends to shape the nature of our world and so, in the sixteenth century, people had no reason to question the accounts given by ancient people who had faced the same problems of origin as they. The world had a definable and very limited time space, creatures were either born or created by spontaneous generation and the explanation lay in an active creator who ensured the perfection of all.

To realise the reality of this particular world is essential to evaluating Nostradamus' Prophecies since it shapes the conflict Nostradamus would have faced if he could see into the future. What is known today means no rational human can hold to views that were shaped in the absence of knowledge and so to see the future from the sixteenth century means a viewer such as  Nostradamus must either turn to denial of what he sees or grapple with the incomprehensible.

But today we understand we have many barriers to our own understanding. When we walk into a room the marvellous powers of sight and memory create a world that seems real but yet we know its flaws. We know we can look at things but not notice all that's there. You can see and judge but your mind shapes all that enters and stores what its past suggests will be necessary or useful. And in judging this mechanical bias, mind-training plays a significant part in matching the virtual world to what exists. These are all issues that would have affected Nostradamus' view of our world unless you believe he was, unlike any human that has ever lived, from another time. Yet this was not his view of himself nor is it one that can be plausibly assumed.
Not that I wish to attribute to myself either the name or the role of a prophet, but (rather rely on) inspired revelation, like any man whose senses are no less distant from heaven than his feet are from the ground..Nostradamus' Cesar Preface 1555 (PCE5)
It is common for people to read into Nostradamus every possible event that is occurring in their lives but it is impossible for the Prophecies to carry the vast amount of information for every minute event that has occurred since Nostradamus put pen to paper.

This however is not a real issue since Nostradamus didn't claim this. He didn't write for trivial titillation or to prove a point, he wrote the work because he was a human shaped into a world view that was uniquely his own and it needed his expression. His interests, his biases shape the verses but they are transformed by his encounters with his source. The dilemma of future seeing is it sees things that are not credible for a person in the age that the seer dwells. Such seeing must depend on the other part of the process, the being that has presence in the future.
C1 Q2
The wand in the hand is placed in the middle of the branches
With water he sprinkles the hem of his garments
A voice, fear he trembles in his robes.
Divine splendor; the God sits nearby.
The interchange between a future being and a sixteenth century man would have faced many hurdles. Physical images of war and nuclear bombs would translate quite well into pictures seen as though through a hazy mirror but evolution and genetic concepts would not be so easily conveyed. The latter rely on complex layers of knowledge and yet for the most part the results are the same as has always been, living things are created, grow old and die. However these conceptual ideas are what really distinguished the sixteenth century from our own age.
All comes from God and nature, and for the most part it is integrated with the celestial course. It is much like seeing in a flaming mirror, where the vision of the great events is clouded, sad, prodigious and calamitous...Nostradamus' Henry Epistle 1558 (PEE7a)
Modern conceptual ideas would have presented great difficulty for Nostradamus since their language didn't exist and had no reason to exist. His written ideas of what he had seen would be distorted into that which made some sense but his writings were no longer free, the presence of the future being didn't end with the dream. It would be foolish to assume that Nostradamus could evoke an inert servant from the future prepared to show him that for which his sixteenth century soul craved and yet deliver him unmarked, unbent by the ethos of his visitor.

An early verse also shows this influence through a mix of words that hint at a half-seen, little understood future while underneath its lettering lies a meaning well beyond sixteenth century understanding. Within the anagrams there are terms such as prescient seeing, interspecies, eugenist and Lucashenca all able to be linked into the future when genetic cloning experimentation begins and tests go awry.
C1 14
From the enslaved populace, songs, chants and demands
while Princes and Lords are held captive in prison
These will in the future by headless idiots
be received as divine prayers.
De gent e$claue chan$ons chants et requeftes
Captifs par Princes et Seigneur aux prisons
A l'aduenir par idiotz $ans te$tes
Seront receus par diuines orai$ons.
The anagrams from which the understanding of this verse will emerge include:
gene set Lucashenca son (e gen - t e$  - claue chan$ - ons), sons chant request ($ons - chant -s et requ),
prescient seeing war prisons pacts (Princes et - Seigne -ur au -x prison -s Capt), interspecies Wagner prix (Princes et Sei - gneur au - x pri),
stateless a ruined pair (s te$tes A l' - a - duenir - par i),
aversion is cornerstones upraised (uines ora- i$  - ons Seront rec - eus par di), encaptures diviner (nt receus pa - r diuine),
Noahs, cleanest, castle, neglects, Athens, atlases, threatens, chastens, entices, eugenist, ascriptions, narcosis, persistence, adulates, unsalaried, tests, rapid, assents, unripe, session, radii, centre.
Elemental Patterning in the universe.

The pattern in the anagrams seen above can of course be by chance alone but to dismiss them for that is to miss one of the most significant recognitions our time has made. This involves a form of patterning that places our understanding of the universe upon a different plane to that of our our own parent's time. It is the concept of fractals that takes us away from the mentally crippling idea of a mechanical, absolute view to one that offers a better understanding of the operations that have brought everything into being.

It is not by chance that mathematics and nature create such similarities for they both rely on boundary properties and all the external and internal forces that interplay within it. Space is not a blank canvas but a unique diaphragm imprinted for the possible. And it is through such subtle effects as shadow patterns that memory has something on which to build and evolution the means to incorporate what seems the work of craftsmen. This mechanism is relatively new and has not yet been presented to the man in the street in a form that reveals its significance to evolution.
The sixteenth century was so different from our own time that it inevitably places huge questions on how much anyone of that era could have foreseen about evolution and the nature of time. To people today it might seem that we are not held back by the same barriers but nonetheless there are attitudinal, traditional and new-think attitudes that shape our thinking. Science, enlightened as it has the capacity to be, is not immune from this same restriction for its members are human. Accordingly, the greatest ignorance of our time is still based around our perception of our place in the universe.

This bias isn't an overt thing but a hidden set of values that make us smug about those gifts nature has bestowed on us. So we are seduced into believing our cleverness can never be surpassed. The reality is it can be and inevitably will be that the future will sideline mankind. Evolution doesn't stop with humans and our species has no guaranteed place as chief ruler of anything that matters.

It isn't that man has to disappear quickly but we can be assured that within a million years from now evolution will still exist but mankind most probably will not. However evolution will not waste our existence since its future patterns will embrace the things that set us apart. The common view is a sad ignorance, a human arrogance that makes many ignore the inevitability of our demise. And it is compounded by assumptions that suggest we know what form the definitive evolutionary path will take or that unthinking, amoral, evolution can not progress without us.

However the understanding of Nostradamus' contribution to these issues makes it important to reflect on the achievements of life itself since the past is our guide to the surprises in the future of the universe.

Modern mankind, even within the sciences, is most at ease in the development of the mechanics of things rather than the origin of concepts. Concepts such as awareness and time are seen as less real than mass, energy and space. Within this way of thinking time is real only in that it has no future only a past. Yet it is concepts that most differentiate mankind from all other living things and they have increasing substance through their history and evolution. We are happy to build trees of knowledge that place every living thing in a line representing changes in time. Such trees are common and allow us to represent the many stories of the evolving universe. But where do you see the tree of concepts?

When was awareness absent from the universe? What sort of universe exists if awareness is not there? Where on the line of universal existence did awareness first occur? Was it with the start of matter, life or even later?  In our own understanding of the world we are the first beings to be aware of the universe and its creation, yet awareness may well have been inherent in all living things and maybe even earlier. We are the ones that have ideas about the way this universe began and yet I believe awareness has always been present but in an evolving form. This means that of which we are aware is not all there is and beings with further evolved awareness are inevitable.

And critical to awareness is memory and this concept also evolved.  So existence, time and awareness are all evolving and they are linked with the fundamental concept that defines them all, continuity. Without continuity there is only chaos and continuity is therefore the ephemeral nemesis of total chaos.

Time is not only a reflection of that which makes the universe exist, it is the concept that evolves when continuity occurs and lasts only as long as continuity thrives. Time as experienced by living things is linear, an instant only, and therefore for there to be awareness of time a structure has to know these instants continue. This means awareness only exists where there is memory.

Awareness of time is dependent on memory but memory alone is not enough. Rocks have memory in the duration events of their formation in which stages of heating, lingering after-effects of cooling and chemical reactions all play the role of temporarily storing time related events. But none of this is enough to assume rocks have active memory that makes them aware of their own existence, let alone that of the universe. The origins of memory lie in the physio-chemical world and like all evolutionary things its attributes grow ever larger as the universe evolves. We humans hold a well-advanced form of memory but it too isn't likely to be where this process ends. Memory will do as it has always done progress towards a fuller incorporation of the elemental-potentials of our universe.

I would argue there is a tree of concepts that has not yet been explored and the concept of evolution, like time and continuity, is one of those relevant to our understanding of all the others.
I believe Nostradamus' work provides pivotal evidence that new life forms will evolve that challenge our current understanding of time. His evidence is not the only hint we have and it may turn out that there are other sources stretching back throughout ancient human societies. I don't believe Nostradamus fully understood what he saw but this is not a failing on his part, it is the natural outcome of where he stood in human history.

Any tree of the development of the concept of evolution must not ony include the detail of the individual species but the broader achievements of the underlying process. I have long believed that evolution evolves and that it is as natural as the concept itself that this should happen. Yet the stages even in a static concept of evolution will still embrace the continuity of movement towards a greater ability to utilise every potential of the universe. And it cannot do everything at once, there has to be a progression though simplicity towards ever increasing simplified-complexity. Our senses are the product of this process with origins in the physio-chemical boundaries but now they span a large spectrum covering touch, sight, hearing, smell in humans. But other spheres such as gravitational field awareness are known to occur in different species. These generate a legacy that is the ability to confine, define and utilise continuous interactions.

Evolutionary history gives us insight to modern humankind's limitations. Let us consider the perspective of the first worm. From its worm's eye view of the world man was never a likely outcome of future evolution. It had no means of knowing humans would follow its first appearance on the planet despite its newly acquired abilities setting it above all that had come before. And those abilities it had provided no framework for concepts that had not yet evolved. This is not a trivial diversion since we too cannot know what potentials of the universe exist outside what evolution has already delivered us.

It would be arrogant to believe that electromagnetic forces, gravitation or even thought patterns
tell us all there is to know about the potential of the universe.  But we are currently amongst the most fortunate of beings for we are capable of being aware of more of the universe than any creatures that have existed previously on this planet. Life is a toll-free gift, generated by evolution.
However we can know that time is one of the potentials that evolution has exploited. It destroyed the limitations of unitary time, the instance that is all time has to offer. And it did so through exploiting continuity. Mass, energy, space and time hold the potentials of our universe and each of them is part of the continuous expansion phenomenon that is the fabric of the universe's being.
I have little doubt that Nostradamus grappled with these ideas as indicated by his thoughts in his 1555 Cesar Preface (PCE10):
How then do these ambiguous opinions exceeding all Mahommedan dreams arise by natural reasons, when God the Creator is timeless; it is by the minister of his messengers of fire. The missive is in their burning flame which comes to offer us external reference. Similarly our eyes then become causes of future prediction, signifying future cases that must occur to him that presages.
Because the exterior light which brings the presage infallibly judges its parts, so truly [is it judged] that the parts seem to use the eye for understanding, which is the purpose of this imaginative lesion. The reason for this is too obvious, since all is predicted by god's outflow, and it is by means of Angelic spirit that the man prophesying is inspired. This means that the prophecies are illuminated in layers starting with the emotions at the front of his fantasies. By various nocturnal visions it is prophesied and made certain by conjoint astronomical calculations administered in the day. Thereby this is a sanctified prediction of the future with no consideration from elsewhere that is based on free will.
It is apparent Nostradamus was grappling with mechanisms that bridge time eternal and temporal and this implies he saw time as being different to how modern man views it. But although we have found no physical evidence it is not outside the bounds of what we know. Already we are aware that evolution has found a way to recover the past even though it no longer exists. Our brains show that we can recall the past thereby enabling us to be versatile, active and survive. Learning is another concept amongst the higher order of evolutionary life mechanisms but it too has ancient primitive roots. But humans go much further with their association with the past. We see things that happened trillions of years ago as though they were happening now. Other animals notice stars only as temporal objects, something linked to the passing of the night.

We do have abilities that set us apart. We understand the origins of things. Ancient bones, tree rings, layers of ash, silt and clay, shells found in rocks high up in mountains yet the explanation of these things were not known in Nostradamus' day. However it is apparent that as time passes we unlock more and more of the potential this universe has to offer. Evolution takes us on this journey of bridging present time with the past.

All living things have the ability to trespass in the future. Reaction time is one such mechanism that transforms the present into anticipation of what is about to happen. But memory helps achieve the same end. Natural rhythms such as the motions of the sun and planets allow us to have high expectation of how their location will change. And by that change we also measure time. Our calendars are based on knowledge of how the continuities of time and movement can be exploited but similar and even better mechanisms of tracking time are common amongst the living of this world as evidenced by breeding cycles and the re-emergence of creatures after long hibernations.
However in regard to future seeing once again modern man has moved further than most along the evolutionary scale. We can know the amount of un-decayed atoms there will be in radioactive materials a  million years or more beyond our time and we can know the fate of our sun and other components of the universe. No other animal on this planet has or can equal these achievements. And it is these superior exploitations of time and continuity that breed man's arrogance as to what can and cannot be.

So once again we should note we are not gods but mortal men who are the result of evolution. This process that underpins the remarkable powers of life works because it has proven ways of bridging seemingly impassable discontinuities. Evolution, fractals, continuity and time are one which means that while the universe exists there will appear higher forms than us and beyond them higher forms again. When the universe dies the existing life forms will have transcended many dimensions unknown to man.

It is apparent we are not the object of a singular creation but a product of an eternal process that stamps us with a use-by date. This terminality is not a fate that we can avoid for it is a chain and our place in that chain came about by the same forces that will make us obsolete. However we are here and we are now, we are the keepers of a process that is indestructible.

It is as though the universe is an egg and we but a self defining patterned thread immersed deep within that which it will become. We are part of the future no matter what our short-term fate but what a gift we have been given since in the meantime we are able to enjoy the here and now that we love so well and speculate on things yet to come to pass. But this is not a gift demanding gratitude, servitude or purpose, it is what it is and no more, a fortunate place along an impassionate, natural chain.

This view of evolution which sees the universe as a cosmic egg has the ability to transform our religious cultures. Looking back, the traditional realm of religion, is increasingly shown to lead to error but now we can look forward with ever increasing confidence for we are always learning more about our destiny. And we have a modern goal in keeping with the drive within all living things; we can participate in the evolution of the divine, the future beings that transcend time. By this means eternity is not outside our reach even if for us it is a fleeting touch.

And it is in this latter understanding that Nostradamus' work seems to have much to offer. Not only did he grapple with these ideas but he talked as though there was an interchange occurring, one that drew a divine presence into the temporal plane. This could make sense if evolution does proceed along the path of expanding the capacity of future beings to traverse time. If this were so it need not breach any laws since even now we do go back in time when we dig up fossils but we do so without altering what happens to that creature beyond that point where it lived and died. In reaching back we don't alter the past, the only change can be to our future.

If time is eternal and there is a path for expansion of time-participation beyond that of modern man then it is likely there will be beings in our future that can leave impressions in our minds. The time gap until it occurs may be immense but it would make no difference for all of eternity would be manifested in that being and to differing degrees it could penetrate all ages. This would certainly fit Nostradamus' proposed model of a divine influence on the layers of his mind.

But if this is a possible path then there is inevitably evidence of that in the present and past histories of humankind. This would certainly explain the patterning I find in Nostradamus' work and it could also explain the seemingly prescient frame of evolution from the very onset of time; the ability to tap natural designs that enable its progress.

I am often disappointed in the presentation of issues in science while at the same time very satisfied with what it has achieved. There is mystery in our past and the search for mechanical solutions to all of these is admirable in itself but it often leaves me asking why not enjoy the mystery rather than gloss over its presence when the mechanistic model doesn't answer basic questions of motivation?

When I see civilisations that have built things that test the physical abilities of humans I can say yes that is possible but ask why would any people commit to and invest in an unfamiliar project stretching over several lifetimes using techniques that had never previously been used? And why were these techniques able to produce engineering strengths and precision that even our own day has difficulty in matching? And why did the methods employed on mounds and pyramids prove to be so good when the properties of the components were unknown in such conditions? What motivation offsets the massive high capital-risk when gambling on unknown properties? Add to this the realm of inspiration and genius and it is possible that we draw strength from other sources that are not too distant from the sphere of humankind but not derived from a remote external presence disconnected from the life stream.

Evolution has constantly delivered seemingly miraculous technological advances so we know that it works and that its processes mount impossible barriers to provide continuity. So if there is a future in which beings can transcend the temporal time dimension then patterning from that future should exist today. In ancient times mud and rock megaliths provided the medium in which patterns of inspiration could be inscribed and as evolution progressed speech, written words, thoughts and actions of the mind offer  increased potential for subliminal patterning. If this is so then the impact of a future presence would also evolve leaving ever more significant structures that are relevant to each stage.
I like this thought that we look to the future for our inspiration and for learning those potentials of the universe that are available to us here and now and I am sure I am not alone in this.
How is it that the eternal God is the only one that knows the eternity of its light, proceeding from himself? And [in response] I say frankly that is to those whom he wants to reveal his long inspired melancholy in all its immeasurable, incomprehensible magnitude, that are subject thereof to hidden causes manifested divinely.
They are mainly of two major causes, which are confined to the mind of the inspired one who prophesies. One of these allows the clarity of the supernatural light to infuse the character who predicts by the doctrine of the stars and the other enables the prophesies to become inspired revelation. All of which is certainly the participation of the divine eternity, by means of which the Prophet comes to judge that his divine spirit has been given to him by means of God the creator, and a natural incitement.
This is [the way] to know that what is predicted is true and has its origin ethereally placed. And such light and emergent flame is very effective...Nostradamus' Cesar Preface 1555 (PCE7)
An important dimension to acknowledge in respect to this relation is the inequality between the parties. The future being is the one that is all knowing not the human recipient so any imprint of their interaction on the future is predetermined as being that which is true.
Nostradamus acknowledged the bridge for understanding time that he and the divine one used in their communications. He restates many times they employed a date system based on the eternal stars since their unique locations were the key understandable from both standpoints of eternal and temporal time. His visions were accompanied by images of the stars and it is then by their locations that he calculated the date they represented.
For the incomprehensible secrets of God and their efficient virtue depends on the long expansion of natural knowledge, deriving their origin from free will. They bring about the appearance of causes which of themselves could not attract enough attention to be known, neither by human augury, nor by any other hidden knowledge or virtue comprised under the concavity of heaven, even from the present fact of all eternity, which comes in itself to embrace all time. But through some indivisible eternity and by means of Hiraclienne agitation the causes are made known alongside the celestial movement...Nostradamus' Cesar Preface 1555 (PCE7)
This means that the prophecies are illuminated in layers starting with the emotions at the front of his fantasies. By various nocturnal visions it is prophesied and made certain by conjoint astronomical calculations administered in the day...Nostradamus' Cesar Preface 1555 (PCE10)
Nostradamus could easily interpret much of what he saw since floods, plagues, wars and objects falling from the sky are somewhat timeless in their repetitive qualities but much of that which interested him lay beyond his ability to express through words. For these he is reliant on allusion and metaphors such as his use of the eternal light of the vestal virgin's lamps to convey ideas of nuclear energy. However he was not alone when he wrote about these things just as he was not alone when he dreamed his visions and the message that arises is built within the lettering used by Nostradamus. And Nostradamus' influence had to be there since the link was one of empathetic minds, a future channel focused by the recipient.

So contact in such circumstances would leave patterns related to the goals but beyond the capacity of that person to describe alone. The mechanism implies such patterns cannot carry an independent warning or instruction for mankind to change, it is the passing footprint a trespasser leaves and its import is it represents a fossil of the future.

Some patterns in verses related to our future.

This imprint, this purpose is common throughout the Prophecies. Through http://allanuu.tripod.com/Quatrains/QuatrainTitle.htm you can gain access to all 942 verses and see the framework that lies within them. The following verse C2 Q21 typifies what I have uncovered. Its text is clearly about a messenger while its complex, rare anagrams frame a single story related to the visitor in Nostradamus' mind. Fractal patterns are normally imperfect and incomplete but they leave definitive shapes as does the concealed wording embedded within Nostradamus' lettering. In the analysis below the message that arises from a reconstruction using the most complex rare sequences is Embalmers assured albam (coding method) encoding my super-zealous powers denouncing Europe's powerless maze. Elder's fortune coders hesitance. Portentous portent arouses euthanasic genre.
The anagrams of C2 Q21 include:

But it is not just the coding mechanism that gains its strongest stories from the innate patterning in the lettering. Many of them deal with the great mutations in genetic technology and its impact on the evolution of life on this planet. The patterning in the following verse deals with environmental factors of a type that would have been difficult for Nostradamus to grasp.

The anagrams of C5 Q27 set several different modes by which the atmosphere is contaminated as shown by key anagrams which say leading Pro-German feature Norseman oil, envisioned dread coerces tribe. Large atmosphere temblor, potash theme, Arab dread Abdera Deuteron agendas.

Two imperfect examples don't provide a solid basis but when combined with all the verses as indicated in my other writings there emerges a coherent sense that is lacking in Nostradamus' sixteenth century text. The messages the lettering contains justify Nostradamus' claims about his process and motivations. And his claims are consistent with the expanded meaning of the Prophecies thereby raising the credibility of his visions. For five hundred years it has been possible to say his success relies on ambiguity but the patterning removes this weakness. However such a result is only possible if his assessment about his source is true and that being was an active contributor to what emerged from Nostradamus' mind.

It is easy to dismiss my analyses if they rely on author-initiated distortions in the lettering but they don't and it is fallacious to claim that the patterns are false because they couldn't have been written by Nostradamus or that the texts are error-ridden from the start. And it is false because these factors should make my methods fail and lower the count of relevant terms. All criticisms that are based on my choice of one source, a language other than French and use of the lettering presented in one edition fall into the category of complaints that are in denial of the expected negative impact these choices should have had on the frequency of anagrams found. So if anything my analyses understate the evidence of patterning.

However with all its possible faults my method still gives increased readability to all 942 verses and although it is true some are less powerful than others many of them reach levels that seem impossible through the realm of chance alone. At the very least there is something assisting their formation whether it is the natural result of fractals, the logical outcome of evolution creating a culture that can traverse different times or Nostradamus' own invention. These patterns are worthy of consideration because they may help resolve potentials of the universe not readily accessible to humankind.
My work includes a listing of all anagram patterns and links to each verse. This list can be found at http://allanuu.tripod.com/Quatrains/Index.html.

Link to The Jesus debacle: Trigger to World War.

Saint Richard of ChichesterI have uploaded my new book to my site given below where it will be available free while I check its readiness for publication in printed form.

The book is about the theme big enough to motivate Nostradamus to write his Prophecies, the method he used to see the future, the way he hid his visions, the clues he left to solve his puzzles and the mystery contained within his lettering.
The title is The Jesus Debacle: The Trigger to World War and it is accessible through http:www.nostradamusdecoded.com/allanuu/

For five hundred years more one will keep count of the one Who was the ornament of his time: Then suddenly great light will he give,
He who for this century will render them very satisfied...C3 Q94
  Michel de Nostredame
There are thirty-one verses where gold is mentioned in the text which represents over three percent of the Prophecies. Such a sizable chunk suggests this term has special relevance to Nostradamus and the purpose of this chapter is to explore the unities within the verses that use precious metals in their text. Besides these thirty-one verses there are another three that hold anagrams for 'gold' and these three provide pivotal links to the rationale behind Nostradamus' focus on gold and silver.
The basic theme within these verses is complementary to that of the story given in my Chapter on Malthus in which debt, creditors and corporations facilitate and corrupt the technonological advancements of the twenty-first century and beyond. I believe Nostradamus uses the theme of gold and silver to identify verses which reflect the events we will face in our time and that his coverage traverses legend, myth and the history of the past five hundred years to produce its pictures. Despite his use of ancient images and stories hidden until now Nostradamus' goal is always prophetic and each verse references a dimension or detail relevant to the great mutations of mankind that he foresaw for the 21st century and beyond.
But now I want to reach out and declare happenings of common interest through incomprehensible and perplex sentences about future causes. The most urgent are those in which I perceive some human mutation and for which I must find a way that is inoffensive to the weakest ear..1555 Cesar Preface (PCE2)
Nostradamus lived in a financial climate that had to impact on his writings. The sixteenth century has a special place in the financial history of the World due to the discovery of immense, easily extracted silver reserves in the newly discovered lands of South America. The major beneficiaries of this wealth were the Spanish and in particular Charles V who used that wealth to pursue endless wars in support of his claim to become the Holy Roman Empire and suppression of the Protestant cause. The pursuit of this goal however bankrupted Spain because the war was more costly than the new discoveries could sustain and Charles V took on debts with punitive interest rates using the strength of his cash flow as his surety. The reign of Charles V ended when he abdicated in 1556 and it was his son Maximillian who then carried the burden of inherited debt and the ignominy of bankruptcy. Verse C1 Q53 references this story of finance in the era Nostradamus wrote his Prophecies and it is on this base that he builds his story of modern and future financial collapse. The anagrams in the story offer parallels to this era of easy gold and silver that are seen in the petroleum (ple tourme) industry and in an arena yet to emerge where modern man mines uranolites (otale ruin) and begins to reap the mineral riches of space.
Alas, how we will see a great nation sorely troubled
and the holy law in utter ruin.
Christianity (governed) throughout by other laws,
when a new source of gold and silver is discovered.
Las quon verra grand peuple tourmente
Et la loy $aincte en totale ruine
Par autres loix toute la Chre$tiente
Quand d'or dargent trouue nouuelle mine
A powerful demonstration of Nostradamus' methodology is given by C8 Q44 and C9 Q17 where the former has an anagram for gold (l dog) in its first line and the fourth line of the latter has a French reference to the Age of Gold being dead. The link that makes these verses stand out as being a pair comes via the third line of C8 Q44 which says To the king long friend of the half man. In C9 Q17 in the section where gold is mentioned in the text there is an an anagram for androgyne (roy grand e) which refers to a being with the attributes of being half-man and half-woman while in the line above it there is an anagram for friend (n Redif). And there is an androgynous person called Chevalier d'Eon linked to the time of Louis XV whose ties to the king fit to the ideas given above and below since Louis' father's reign (Louis XIV) is the one which history refers to as the French Royal's 'Golden Age' . It is by this means that the obscurity of these verses is made to vanish and in its place is the story-line of a namable French royal family.
The natural offspring of Ogmios
will turn off the road from seven to nine.
To the king long friend of the half man,
Navarre must destroy the fort at Pau.
Le procree naturel dogmion
De $ept a neuf du chemin de$torner
A roy de longue et amy aumi hom
Doit a Nauarre fort de PAV pro$terner
The third one first does worse than Nero,
How much human blood to flow, valiant, be gone:
He will cause the furnace to be rebuilt,
The Age of Gold is dead, new King great scandal.
Le tiers premier pys que ne feit Neron
Vuidex vaillant que $ang humain re$pandre
Redifier fera le forneron
Siecle d'or mort nouueau roy grand e$clandre
.
Now these two verses are part of a bigger story in which dates are set for these gold-related events. And fittingly the intercross method of text and anagrams already used in linking the above verses also works using the anagram for calendars (rand e$cla) in the end of the fourth line of C9 Q 17 and the wording  'seven to nine' that appears in the second line of C8 Q 44 since it identifies the  turning point of Louis XIV' reign during which three generations of the Royal line were sidelined by his longevity. Also of interest in establishing its relevance is the anagram for monetised (emin de$to) in C8 Q44 which again has a textual relationship to  the wording in the fourth line of C9 Q17 which says the age of gold is dead.
Another verse C5 Q41 also uses the Age of Gold reference point found in C9 Q17 and it has the same hint of the demise of a wealthy era since its fourth line says renewing the age of brass for gold. But the story in the text of C5 Q41 shown below resonates with the birth in Pau of Henry IV, King of Navare and his impact on France which therefore extends the range of the earlier verses set in the louis XIV to Louis XV era back into the sixteenth century. And by this place of birth we see an additional link to C8 Q44 since that verse displayed has both Navarre and Pau as part of its text.
Born in the shadows and during a dark day,
He will be sovereign in realm and goodness
He will cause his blood to rise again in the ancient urn
Renewing the age of gold for that of the brass.
Nay $ouz les vmbres et journee nocturne
Sera en regne et bonte $ouueraine
Ferare nai$tre $on $ang de l'antique vrne
Renouuellant $iecle d'or pour l'aerain
It becomes apparent that these verses fit well to the generations of the Bourbon line dating from the matriarch of the line, Marguerite d'Angouleme through Henry IV and carrying on to the tenth generation at which time the Golden age of Louis XIV the Sun King is replaced by one of lesser glory under Louis XV. But who is the half man, the androgyne found in the earlier verses? There is a person called Chevalier d'Eon linked to the the reign of Louis XV whose attributes interweave correctly with the threads teased out in the analysis above.
In 1756, d'Éon joined the secret network of spies called the Secret du Roi, employed by King Louis XV without the knowledge of the government. It sometimes promoted policies that contradicted official policies and treaties. According to d'Éon's memoirs (although there is no documentary evidence to support that account) the monarch sent d'Éon with the Chevalier Douglas, Alexandre-Pierre de Mackensie-Douglas, baron de Kildin, a Scottish Jacobite in French service, on a secret mission to Russia in order to meet Empress Elizabeth and conspire with the pro-French faction against the Habsburg monarchy. At that time the English and French were at odds, and the English were attempting to deny the French access to the Empress by allowing only women and children to cross the border into Russia. D'Éon had to pass convincingly as a woman or risk being executed by the English upon discovery. In the course of this mission, d'Éon was disguised as the lady Lea de Beaumont, and served as a maid of honour to the Empress...Wikipedia extract
Most scholars believe Louis XV's decisions damaged the power of France, weakened the treasury, discredited the absolute monarchy, and made it more vulnerable to distrust and destruction, as happened in the French Revolution, which broke out 15 years after his death.

..
Wikipedia extract on Louis XV
And the most spectacular financial story of Louis XV's reign involves a Scotsman called John Law whose involvement appears to be as much a part of the story of silver and gold as is that of Malthus linking the tale of financial crisis to the restrictions imposed by finite earthly resources.
John Law as Nostradamus' archetypal man-of-straw.
John Law (21 April 1671 – 21 March 1729) was a Scottish economist who believed that money was only a means of exchange that did not constitute wealth in itself and that national wealth depended on trade. He was appointed Controller General of Finances of France under the Duke of Orleans, regent for the youthful king Louis XV.

In 1716 Law established the
Banque Générale in France, a private bank, but three-quarters of the capital consisted of government bills and government-accepted notes, effectively making it the first central bank of the nation. He was responsible for the Mississippi Company bubble and a chaotic economic collapse in France, which has been compared to the early-17th century tulip mania in Holland.

...Law was a gambler and a brilliant mental calculator. He was known to win card games by mentally calculating the odds. He originated economic ideas such as "The Scarcity Theory of Value" and the "real bills doctrine". Law’s views held that money creation will stimulate the economy, that paper money is preferable to metallic money, and that shares are a superior form of money since they pay dividends...Wikipedia entry on John Law
There is a verse in the Prophecies where two of the lines of the text point towards a person such as John Law whose French initiatives were taken up by the British with a similar result. The South Sea Bubble was Britain's hangover that mirrored that of the Mississippi Company but there is more than the text to suggest that this is the intended meaning of Nostradamus.
Verse C5 Q93 is one of the three verses where an anagram for gold (d glo) is found and in the second line of that verse given below there are anagrams for mercature domain  (a domin - ateur Mercu) which provide a strong connection to the economics of trade. And the choice of mercature as a word is related to a time in the past since its is an obsolete term for trade or commerce. This concept of a specific type of commerce also fits with an anagram for bourse (re Soub) which appears in the same line as that for gold and it was through instruments traded on stock exchanges and bourses that the great havoc of these economic bubbles was made possible. The defininh pointers to John Law's life story occur in the last two lines.
Under the land of the round lunar globe,
When Mercury will be dominating
The isle of Scotland will produce a luminary,
One who will put the English into confusion.
Soubs le terroir du rond globe lunaire
Lors que $era dominateur Mercure
L'isle d'E$co$$e fera vn luminaire
Qui les Anglois mettra de$confiture
This selection of Thomas Malthus and John Law comes about either as a focal point of Nostradamus' interest or as the product of chance but whichever it is the entry of these people with powerful influence in the sphere of finance is relevant to the topics raised in the texts of verses where these anagrams are found.
If Nostradamus' work is prophetic as he claimed then such evidence of a defining nature is mandatory for it to be meaningful and its absence would render his works pointless. Knowing that these elements do appear to be present doesn't prove his claims, they can never do that since they must always rely on the past for their credibility. What they can do is enhance our understanding of the nature of time and if there is any purpose in Nostradamus methods and claims it is surely this goal that would justify his efforts.
For the common benefit of humans it is about the divine essence by which the astronomic revolutions have given me cognizance...1555 Cesar Preface (PCE1)
What such evidence offers us is a means to more fully explore its implications but in order to do so we have to suspend prejudgement and take the evidence at face value. As tenuous and irrational as it may seem for Nostradamus to have seen our future we can judge that there is indeed a pattern is emerging from the ciphers based on precious metals and these suggests its a themed story reflective of design and not a random ragbag of unrelated ideas that chance might generate. Thus far this story of silver and gold points to these metals being ciphers that signal verses telling us the story of the Bourbon royal line, a line that had its roots in Nostradamus lifetime but which had no substance until several decades after his death. And this fifteenth to seventeenth century story only makes sense if it acts as a portent or history underpinning events to come since it remains hidden at the time of occurrence and redemption can only be offered if it reveals future truths of inevitable events. The questions that this then raises are Why bother? and What underpins the choice of Nostradamus' themes?
The next series of verses I discuss provides a foundation from which the answers to the above questions can be obtained. They involve a Roman statesman and consul in the second century BC and his activities in Southern France. Verse C8 Q29 mentions this leader, Caepio, in its last line of text in the context of an ancient legend. This tale centres Caepio's theft from Temples in Toulouse, gold that is traceable back to the sack of the temple of the Delphic oracle two centuries earlier.
Quintus Servilius Caepio: While marching to Arausio (modern-day Orange) Caepio plundered the temples of the town of Tolosa (ancient Toulouse) , finding over 50,000 fifteen-pound bars of gold and 10,000 fifteen-pound bars of silver. Strabo reports[1] a story told in his time of this semi-legendary treasure, the aurum Tolosanum, supposed to have been the "cursed gold" looted during the sack of Delphi during the Gallic invasion of the Balkans in 279 BC. The riches of Tolosa were shipped back to Rome, but only the silver made it; the gold was stolen by a band of marauders, who were believed to have been hired by Caepio himself. The Gold of Tolosa was never found, and was said to have been passed all the way down to the last heir of the Servilii Caepiones, Marcus Junius Brutus.
At the fourth pillar which they dedicate to Saturn
split by earthquake and by flood;
under Saturn's building an urn is found
gold carried off by Caepio and then restored.
Au quart pillier l'on $acre a $aturne
Par tremblant terre et deluge fendu
Soubz l'edifice Saturnin trouuee vrne
D'or Capion rauy et puis rendu.
So theft involving gold is at the core of Nostradamus' work but this topic is totally unworthy of being called a great mutation of mankind and to justify writing Prophecies about events five hundred years in the future the interim events must relate to ones that dwarf all that befalls man up to that time.  We can rule out that the future tale is merely to tell us of financial disaster that we should avoid since such a motivation would not only be presumptuous but totally futile given the great number of disastrous bubbles that the world has experienced under the guiding hand of man's greed. Yet there can be no doubt that these verses do relate to a financial precious-metal based fraud.
The fraudulent gold scandal.
Verses C3 Q13 and C8 Q28 form an intercrossed pair. Both mention a process involving gold with the first line of text in C3 Q13 saying Through lightning in the arch gold and silver melt and the equivalent line saying The copies of gold and silver inflated. The link between the two verses is provided by the anagram for furnace (ac furen) found in line 2 of C8 Q28 which becomes the device in which an arc melts the two metals and this process is still a modern means of manufacturing gold. I believe the two verses tell of a deception where metals such as tungsten or uranium are mixed to reproduce the qualities of the precious metals when testing for purity. It is implied that this simulatory process is used for  fraud which involves production of a copy followed by an organised theft of the forgery for the insurance value of the genuine article. This theft is covered up by the robbers of the false metals disposing of it in a lake and in this respect mirrors the actions of Caepio in C8 Q29.  It is evident from the nature of these verses that the amount of gold involved is vast which then implies a vault. When this lost gold is rediscovered the texts tell us there is an irrecoverable-loss to shareholders of the vault as indicated by  C3 Q13 line 3 The greatest one of the city stretched out, and C8 Q28 lines 3 and 4 at the discovery that all is exhausted and dissipated, All scrips and bonds will be wiped out.
Through lightning in the arch gold and silver melt
Of two captives one will eat the other:
The greatest one of the city stretched out,
When submerged the fleet will swim.
Par fouldre en l'arche or et argent fondu
De deux captifs l'vn lautre mangera
De la cite le plus grand e$tendu
Quand $ubmergee la cla$$e nagera
The copies of gold and silver inflated,
which after the theft were thrown into the lake,
at the discovery that all is exhausted and dissipated
All scrips and bonds will be wiped out.
Les $imulachres d'or et d'argent enflez
Qu'apres le rapt au lac furent gettez
Au de$couuert e$taincts tous et troublez
Au marbre e$cript pre$criptz intergetez
The text of C8 Q28 tells us that stolen gold is thrown into the lake and this provided links to another verse in the fraudulent precious metals series since the second line of text in C9 Q12 says  'The images will be found in the lake:' and other lines mention both gold and silver. And although one has the French word 'simulachres' translated as copies and the other has 'images' these are one and the same and this term in the form simulacres is usually used in connection with a pretence or sham which reinforces the idea of currency debasemen.
So much silver of Diana and Mercury,
T
he images will be found in the lake:
The sculptor looking for new clay,
He and his followers will be steeped in gold.
Le tant d'argent de Diane et Mercure
Les $imulachres au lac $eront trouuez
Le figulier cherchant argille neufue
Luy et les $iens d'or $eront abbreuez.
This theme of robbery can be seen in quite a number of the verses on gold as illustrated by C7 Q3 and in this verse there is a direct mention of fraud. The content of the text is self-evidently meant to act as a timing and locative device for these events.
After the naval victory of France,
the people of Barcelona the Saillinons and those of Marseille
the robber of gold, the anvil enclosed in the ball
the people of Toulon will be party to the fraud.
Apres de France la victoire nauale
Les Barchinons Saillinons les Phocens
Lierre d'or l'enclume $erre dedans la ba$le
Ceux de Ptolon au fraud $eront con$ens
The next verse C7 Q25 develops the same theme since iy refers to reasons for altering the metallic content of the currency but in the example given it isn't considered fraud or theft but a legally backed debasement of the currency of the type employed throughout history.
Through long war all the army exhausted,
so that they do not find money for the soldiers;
instead of gold or silver, they will come to coin
Gallic brass, and the crescent sign of the Moon.
Par guerre longue tout l'exercite expui$er
Que pour $ouldartz ne trouueront pecune
Lieu d'or d'argent cuir on viendra cu$er
Gualois aerain $igne croi$$ant de Lune
And again  using the reference to brass and war found C7 Q25 we can identify another linkage within the precious-metals series and a correlation between other parts of their text where the inability to find money for soldiers in the above verse matches the concept of a broken agreement referred to in the one below.
The great Royal one of gold, augmented by brass,
The agreement broken, war opened by a young man:
People afflicted because of a lamented chief,
The land will be covered with barbarian blood.
Le grand Royal d'or d'aerain augmente
Rompu la pache par jeune ouuerte guerre
Peuple afflige par vn chef lamente
De $ang barbare $era couuerte terre
To understand the magnitude of the event to which the theme of gold and silver relate we have to look at some verses that fill in the pattern of the five hundred years that are concealed in the Prophecies for in them the clue to the shadow of the momentous mutation events expected to start in the 21st century can be seen.
If the thirty verses on gold were all to fit to the pattern indicated in C8 Q44 then it is possible that each represents a family member of the Bourbon line from the time that Nostradamus was in the own of Agen in the 1530's and that he included their lineage because it is through a 21st century member of that family that Jesus' rebirth as a genetic clone is manifested.
Then there will come out of the stem which had remained barren for so long, proceeding from the 50th parallel, one who will renew the whole Christian Church.... 1558 Henry Epistle (HEE13a)
And being close to another desolation when she will have the most high and sublime dignity, potentates and military leaders will stand before her and take away her two swords. And this will give the signs by means of the curvature that gathers the people making her move to the right. She will not want to condescend to them and goes to the opposite extreme. The hand is put into the acute position touching earth until from the urge to stimulate, one is born from that branch that has been sterile for a long time. ... 1558 Henry Epistle (HEE14a)
This concept then allows the gold verses that relate to the first ten generations to be more easily identified with C1 Q35 having been widely recognised as part of this time period from soon after Nostradamus' 1555 publication of his Prophecies. This verse brought the Prophet to attention because it mirrors the events that took place when Henry II of France was killed by unwisely participating in a joust during a court festival held at the end of June. But this verse was included in the lineage stories not because of the French king but because of the man who brought about his death, Gabriel de Lorges  also known as comte de Montgomery. The anagrams in this verse tell us to pay attention since this man's name appears in the anagrams of this verse and nowhere else. The anagram for de Lorges (ge d'or les) as well as June (jeun), eternally (ontera Le Ly) mourns ($urmon) older eyes (e d'or l - es ye) are all present. And there is also an anagram for Parques (que par $) which is the name for the Roman fates.  De Lorges was deeply changed by his part in the King's death and for some reason switched to the Protestant cause where he served as an ally to both Jeanne d'Albret, first Bourbon Queen of Navarre and her son King Henry IV Of France. In June 1574 he was taken to Paris and beheaded for his participation in an attempted insurrection in Normandy.
The young lion will overcome the older one,
in a field of combat in single fight:
He will pierce his eyes in their golden cage;
two wounds in one, then he dies a cruel death.
Le lyon jeune le vieux $urmontera
En champ bellique par $ingulier duelle
Dans caige d'or les yeux luy creuera
Deux cla$$es vne puis mourir, mort cruelle
The Bourbon line represents the focus point for ideologies that seek redemption by resurrecting belief patterns about the past. The resurrection of Jesus is one of the end goals that inspires continuing adherents. The great mutations of the twenty first century make many aspirations possible with resurrection being one of them. Already attempts are underway to resurrect dinosaurs and mammoths and man's incresing ability to manipulate DNA assures that in the future there will be an attempt to clone Jesus from DNA found in holy relics. Such misguided endeavours will seem almost rational amongst the legal usage of DNA alteration that sees babies born solely to provide spare parts for the ageing rich. We do not need to be Nostradamus to recognise the path our technology leads us down but there is evidence that the Prophecies had these ideas in mind as shown by this passage in the 1558 Epistle to Henry and verse C3 Q72.
And being close to another desolation when she will have the most high and sublime dignity, potentates and military leaders will stand before her and take away her two swords. And this will give the signs by means of the curvature that gathers the people making her move to the right. She will not want to condescend to them and goes to the opposite extreme. The hand is put into the acute position touching earth until from the urge to stimulate, one is born from that branch that has been sterile for a long time. ... 1558 Henry Epistle (HEE14a)
Verse C3 Q72 has wording that fits well to the concept of an old man renewed by cloning shortly before his death and In its last line there are two anagram sequences for  'machines tout older'  'lord nonseraPhic (earthly) calendar'. These words are similar to ideas in other stories and here they suggest that cloning is but one step on the road to cloning Jesus.
The good old man buried quite alive,
Near the great river through false suspicion:
The new old man ennobled by riches,
Captured on the road all his gold for ransom.
Le bon vieillart tout vif en$euely
Pres du grand fleuue par fau$$e $ou$pecon
Le nouueau vieux de riche$$e ennobly
Prins a chemin tout l'or de la rancon.
The calendar cipher in the verse above supports the idea that this topic will be well covered by Nostradamus' astronomic dating techniques which he claimed he had used and included in important verses. One of the series where this applies is in the gold-focussed verses and its offshoots.
The Calendar dates given by the woman in chains.
Verse C4 Q97 is also one of the three verses that holds an anagram for gold (gdol). It has a complex set of connections that allow a date to be given to events involving a gold crisis these involve imagery that defines the background constellation needed to the planetary motions shown in the text of its first line. The second line says The line of the great Monarch will not fail and this can be interpreted as the constellations involving a line of Monarchs which would the then be  Hercules, Perseus and Andromeda with Perseus being the great King who grows old in his reign, Andromeda  in the mother-figure in chains and Hercules the member of the line that brings most fame to their line. Within the anagrams formed by the planetary text there are terms such as Western (s Venus ret) quadrangle (grade L'an qu) and Maneuvres (ure Mars Ven) that help define this astronomic setting since it is only possible to satisfy the requirements in the text by their being regressions in the signs opposite to that of the sun. The third line of text has adjacent anagrams for evils patterns aged gold eludes (e l'v$i - tant pres  - de Ga - gdol -E$leu d) and The last line holds another strange set of anagrams suggesting ill or evil fortune exerting panique. These wordings tie this verse to many of those that mention gold in their text and constantly refines vagueries in their text. Using the information set out above I deduce the planetary occurrence refers to late spring in the year 2012.
In the year that Mercury, Mars, Venus retrograde,
The line of the great Monarch will not fail:
Elected by the people visiting nearby Gagdole
One will come to grow very old in peace and reign
.
L'an que Mercure Mars Venus retrograde. Du grand Monarque la ligne ne faillit
E$leu du peuple l'v$itant pres de Gagdole
Qu'en paix et regne viendra fort enuielli
The extent to which the connections to other verses exist is well demonstrated by verse C10 Q46. The text of these two verses share several wordings of rare occurrence with reference to 'the people' and electoral activity in their texts while 'ill fortune' appearing as anagrams in C4 Q97 above can be seen in 'life, fate and death' allusion in the first line of the verse below.
And in the third line of C10 Q46 there is an anagram for Androm'da and Andromada (andra d'amo) with no other variants of Andromeda appearing anywhere else in the Prophecies. That this is a mythological reference to a queen is confirmed by the only anagram for sovereign (gne Vie $or) in Nostradamus' verses. There is also a most unusual complete sequence saying music and drama burned our sign (De Brun -$uic m - and - ra d'am - our - $ign) which if valid helps explain the references in the text to 'a sordid, unworthy man of the gold' and the mention of Saxony and Brunswick since it evokes the seemingly-preposterous idea that Nostradamus used Richard Wagner as one of his nodes for relating the tale of his lineage stories. But such an idea is only preposterous if he couldn't see the future otherwise it is merely bizarre that he should choose Wagner above all other persons of that era.
In life, fate and death a sordid, unworthy man of the gold
He will not be a new Elector of Saxony:
From Brunswick he will send for a sign of love,
The false seducer delivering it to the people.
Vie $ort mort de L'OR vilaine indigne
Sera de Saxe non nouueau electeur
De Brun$uic mandra d'amour $igne
Faux le rendant au peuple $educteur
If the Wagner conclusion is correct than there must be a reason behind the selection and this lies in the anagram for musical found in simulachres a term used in these verses on gold. These threads can be developed further and the others in the series shown to be part of the same story but I will not do that here but the remaining verses will be integrated into later sections as their relevance dictates.
