Nostradamus C.8 Q.36: The family heading the dreaded Malthusian cataclysm. There are four names given in the text of this verse, three of which have the context of being places while the fourth apperas to be a persons. But none of these names is spelled in a manner that clearly identifies them. And the story in the text is itself so vague as to appear meaning less. Yet the anagrams contain many complex, rare words that have agreater consistency than the text. Such a pttern is typical of coded messages and is an important clue in their eventual decipherment.   It appears that an economist who is a believer in the singular origin of all mankind fears that the world will become overly congested up to a time when cataclysms  redress the population imbalance. This is a good mirroring of the views of the 19th century economist Thomas Malthus and this ties into C.05 Q.37 which holds the only anagram for Malthusian. In that verse there are anagrams for ' Malthusian finance', 'creditors' and 'debtors' (see my paper called Nostradamus on gold for more. In that same paper I tie other verses together to show that all these events relate to the end of this century.   The last three lines contain anagrams about the life patterns of a family intimately involved in the creation of the finanacial crisis . Malthusian actions behind 21st C nuclear catastrophe (C.V Q.37, C.X Q.6)

Nostradamus' quatrains C 5 Q 37 and C 10 Q 6 - Malthus series The following two verses contain a highly defining reference point, that of Robert Thomas Malthus the eighteenth to nineteenth century finance expert who foresaw the inevitable demise of the growth model on a finite planet. The name and terminology are references that only a prophet could have incorporated into any work before the population theories of Malthus were first published yet there are powerful indicators that Nostradamus was responsible for placing this  connection to Malthus into his own work. In the fourth line at three separate locations there are anagrams for 'Malthusian', 'finance', 'lecturer' which form a perfect reference set since they are all rare, complex and highly interrelated concepts. But there are other anagrams in the same verse that are equally as relevant to Malthus' work. Finance industry anagrams for creditors / directors, co-directors  and quittance are found in different lines and are further defined by anagrams for doctrines, coact, sections, discover, rottenness, revolution, doubt, intercrosses. And all of this resonates with implications for the message in the text. From it one can suggest that in 2098CE the Malthusian expecations will be fully appreciated (See Nostradamus on Gold for more). [Robert Thomas] Malthus became widely known for his theories about change in population. His An Essay on the Principle of Population [1798CE] observed that sooner or later population will be checked by famine and disease, leading to what is known as a Malthusian catastrophe. He wrote in opposition to the popular view in 18th-century Europe that saw society as improving and in principle as perfectible. He thought that the dangers of population growth precluded progress towards a utopian society: "The power of population is indefinitely greater than the power in the earth to produce subsistence for man".
